Assistant professor at the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture of IST, and a member of the SIAP (Núcleo 7) group at ICIST.
I've done my graduation in Applied Maths and Computer Science (1995) at
IST, Lisbon, Portugal.
There I also got
my MSc in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) in July 1998 with a thesis
on difference detection and measurement in digital cartography and
my PhD (February 2007) in Territorial Engineering with a thesis on
"Geographic Modelling
of Location Problems".
