Build Your Own Conference Program
You may build your own personalized conference
program using our interactive tool, to print and
bring with you so you do not miss any sessions
of your interest.
To use this interactive tool, simply follow the
instructions below:
1) Log in our conference management system (www.digitalpapers.org/wctr2010),
with your usual login details (you may wish to
skip this step and go directly to the
interactive program which is available
here;
however, please note that in this case some of
the features described below will be lost);
2) Go to the menu “User options” and then choose
“My programme”;
The program screen will appear, and you will see
a grid in which the columns are the different
rooms and lines stand for the different time
slots. Scroll left / right to see the different
rooms, and up / down for the different times /
days.
SEEING THE SESSIONS’ CONTENT
On this grid you can see several blocks, each
corresponding to the different conference
sessions. Passing your mouse over each block
will display the complete session time and full
name on the top of the screen (just below the
system’ menus).
If you wish to see the full session content and
other information, click on that sessions block.
A small window with all the information
regarding that session will open; this includes
the full name of the session, beginning and
ending times and the session location. You will
also have a list of the papers being presented,
and the possibility to read/save the abstract of
each one of them (if available).
SEARCHING FOR A SPECIFIC PAPER/AUTHOR
If you wish to search for a specific paper or
author, use the “Search” icon on the top right
side of the screen. When you press this icon, a
search window will appear with several search
options (title, author, keywords); simply type
your search criteria in any of these fields and
press “Search”. The papers that match your
criteria will be displayed, with information
about the paper (ID, Title, Authors and
possibility of reading/saving the abstract) and
about the session where it’s being presented.
If you press a paper on this list, the session
where it is being presented will be highlighted
in the program screen, and you can then mark it
to attend as described above.
CHOOSING SESSIONS TO ATTEND
If you wish to mark a session to attend, simply
click its block and press “Mark session as to
attend” in the session information window; A
“operation was successful” message will appear,
and a small icon will appear on the block.
To unmark a previously marked session, simply
click on its block and press “Unmark session as
to attend”
PRINTING YOUR PROGRAM
After
selecting all the sessions you wish to attend,
you can print your program to bring along with
you. To do this, simply press the “Print
personalized” icon on the top right side of the
screen. (You can also print the full programme
by choosing the “Print Full” option).
Note:
You do not need to define your programme all at
once. After defining some sessions to attend,
you can log off the Conference Management System
and return later, as your program will be saved
in your account in the system.
Disclaimer:
We will try to keep the “My Programme” tool
updated with the most recent program version.
However, last minute changes are inevitable, so
you must always look for the last changes to the
program displayed on the conference site.
